How to Connect Your Bank Account to Pomelo via Plaid
You can connect your bank account to Pomelo using Plaid instantly or manually. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process and troubleshoot common issues.
Open your Pomelo app.
Go to the Account tab.
Select Payment Information.
Choose Add Bank Details.
Connect your bank account:
If you want to connect your bank account instantly: Enter your online banking credentials when prompted.
If you want to connect your bank account manually: Follow the instructions for manual setup.
Manual Setup Micro Deposit
If you set up your bank account information in Plaid manually, Plaid will send a microdeposit to your bank account. This deposit will include a 3-digit code required to complete the setup.
What to Expect:
Verification of a manually entered bank account will take 1-2 business days.
To manually link your bank account, here are the following steps:
Enter your Routing Number
Enter your Account Number
Choose an account type: Select Personal or Business.
Enter your name: Your name should match the one listed on your bank account.
Select Account Type: Choose Checking or Savings.
Verify and Authorize: You will receive a $0.01 deposit into your newly linked account, which will include a short 3-letter verification code.
If You Have Not Received Your 3-Digit Plaid Code:
1. Wait Time: Ensure you have waited 1-2 business days for the microdeposit to arrive.
3. Re-Add Bank Account: If you still haven’t received the microdeposit after 1-2 business days, try to re-add your bank account to Plaid by following the manual connection steps again.
