If there's a freeze or lock on your credit report when you open an account with Pomelo, you'll have to temporarily lift it before we can proceed with processing your application for an account.

Pomelo works with the credit report agency listed below. Make sure to lift your freeze or lock at all agencies where you have one in place. You can do this online or via phone using the contact information below:

When you lift your freeze or lock online or by phone, it usually takes effect quickly, sometimes within minutes. However, to be on the safe side, you should wait up to an hour before you come back to Pomelo and continue your application.

๐Ÿ’ก When you lift your freeze or lock by mail, it can take up to a few days for the lift to take effect.

If you've taken the steps explained here and still have trouble with Pomelo stating there is a freeze on your credit, please contact our support team at support@pomelo.com.
