Adding your Pomelo Mastercard® to a Digital Wallet

You can add your Pomelo card to your smartphone's digital wallet for quick, convenient, and secure contactless payments. Below are step-by-step instructions for both iPhone and Android users.

For iPhone® Users (Apple Pay®)

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone

  2. Tap the "+" button in the upper-right corner

  3. Select "Credit or Debit Card"

  4. Tap "Continue"

  5. Add your card manually by tapping "Enter Card Details Manually" and inputting your card number, expiration date, and CVV

  6. Enter your name as it appears on the card if prompted

  7. Review and agree to the terms and conditions

  8. Complete verification when prompted:

    • You may receive a verification code via text or email

    • Enter this code when prompted to verify your card

  9. Tap "Next" once your card is verified

  10. Your Pomelo card is now ready to use with Apple Pay

For Android™ Users (Google Pay™)

  1. Open the Google Pay app on your Android device

    • If you don't have it installed, download it from the Google Play Store

  2. Tap the "Payment" tab at the bottom of the screen

  3. Select "Add payment method" or tap the "+" button

  4. Choose "Credit or debit card"

  5. Add your card using one of these methods:

    • Use camera: Position your Pomelo card in the frame to scan it

    • Enter details manually: Tap "Enter details manually" and input your card number, expiration date, CVV, and your name as it appears on the card

  6. Enter your billing address if requested

  7. Review and accept the terms of service

  8. Verify your card when prompted:

    • You'll receive a verification code via text or email

    • Enter this code in the app when prompted

  9. Tap "Done" after verification is complete

  10. Your Pomelo card is now ready to use with Google Pay

Using Your Digital Wallet

To make a payment:

  • iPhone: Double-click the side button, authenticate with Face ID/Touch ID, and hold your phone near the contactless reader

  • Android: Unlock your phone and hold it near the contactless reader until you see a confirmation

Troubleshooting Tips

If you experience issues adding your card:

  • Ensure your Pomelo card is activated

  • Check that your phone has an internet connection

  • Verify that your card isn't already added to your wallet

  • Make sure your digital wallet app is updated to the latest version
