How does the Pomelo Referral Program work?

How do I refer my friends?

Referring friends is simple — you just need to copy and send your unique referral link to your friends.

You can find the invite link on your Accounts tab and tap on 'Refer Friends'.

For every friend that you invite to Pomelo and sends money GCash, both of you will get $25 credit each!

Lots of friends? More rewards. You can invite as many friends as you'd like and receive up to $600 in rewards.

How do I qualify for the reward?

To be eligible:

  • You must be an existing customer of Pomelo who has sent money to GCash and made an on-time repayment.

How do I get the reward?

  • Each friend who signs up using your invite link needs to send money to one GCash recipient on the first transaction (min. $100) with Pomelo.

  • If your friend signed up through your unique link, they do not qualify for any other promotions.

  • Once they've sent the required transfer, they have to pay off any balance, if any.

  • Finally, both of you will be credited $25 each to your account balance on the next billing cycle.

What do my friends have to do?

For both of you to receive the reward:

  • Your friend has to apply for Pomelo via your unique referral link.

  • Verify their identity.

  • Accept their Pomelo Plan and accept their Pomelo Plan and Pomelo Mastercard®.

  • Send money to one GCash recipient on the first transaction (min. $100) with Pomelo.

  • Complete on-time repayment for their first billing cycle.

The following transfers won't count towards qualifying for your reward:

  • Using the Pomelo Mastercard® in physical stores or with online merchants.

  • Sending a transfer that’s less than $100 on the first transfer either to one or many recipients. For the referral to be successful, you have to send $100 to one recipient on the first transfer.
