If you are unable to use a mobile device for your Veriff session, you can easily complete the identity verification process using a web browser on any device with a camera, including your smartphone. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth experience.

Step 1: Start the Verification

  1. Open your web browser and go to apply.pomelo.com

  2. Sign up with your phone number.

  3. After submitting your password, you will be routed to the Veriff session on the web. Select "Continue with your current device."

Step 2: Start the Veriff Session

  1. Have your Government ID or other required documents ready for scanning.

  2. Make sure the camera on your device is turned on and functioning properly so you can scan your documents and take a selfie.

  3. You will be guided through scanning your documents and capturing your selfie. Ensure the images are clear and well-lit for accurate verification.

Step 3: Submit your verification

  1. After successfully submitting your documents and selfie, your verification data will be processed and reviewed.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Internet Connection: Ensure you have a reliable connection. A stable internet connection is essential for a smooth verification process.

  • Document Quality: Ensure that you take the selfie and photos of your identification documentation in a well-lit area. If the photos are blurry, retake the photos as needed.

  • Camera Cleanliness: Before starting, check that your device's camera lens is clean. A dirty lens can cause photos to appear blurry or hazy. Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the lens to remove any smudges or dust.
